Mr and Mrs Smith contacted us, interested in commissioning a custom bed. They arranged to meet in our Dublin studio, to see examples of our work and discuss their requirements. During the initial meeting, we established the brief: the couple wanted a sexy bed, glamourous and a little edgy, in a dark wood, lower than a traditional bed. Oh, and bedside cabinets. Mr Smith wore a pair of vintage marcasite cufflinks, a gift from Mrs. Smith. The metallic facets sparkled.

We looked at the floor plan they'd brought, and asked a lot of questions. By the end of our meeting, we had a good sense of what they expected. Now, to exceed their expectations...
