We all seek meaning and spiritual comfort, deeper connections; lives lived in the present, consciously and intimately. The language of the maker speaks of excellence, of worth, of value. Comfort comes from the warmth and feel of the wood; meaning comes from working purposefully and with a full heart, keeping the beautiful in mind.
At zelouf+BELL, we believe low tech is good; our designs are still hand-drawn at the drawing board, produced by our extraordinary team of skilled cabinetmakers in our workshop in the midlands of Ireland. We combine superior workmanship with a passion for all aspects of creating a piece of furniture, maintaining the delicate balance between handwork and machinery. We endeavor to make our furniture as functional as it is beautiful, in designs expressive of our personalities; practical, elegant and built to endure, our pieces are a pleasure to live with.
Current commissions include furnishing the Embassy of Ireland Residence, Ottawa, a penthouse apartment in Dublin city centre, and a small collection of contemporary pieces incorporating Connemara marble.
